How Sweet It IS- Candy Stocking Stuffers

Hey, I haven't been around lately so getting some time to blog about crafting is so sweet!

The Craft Muse who lives in the spare bedroom aka the craft hoard room, had a real sour look on her face the other day.  I don't know the cause, but it could be that she ran out of Crafting Muse Vitamins.

What are Craft Muse Vitamins? Well, they are small round and made entirely of a substance that is brain power food. Yeah, you got it, in other words chocolate.

With Christmas just weeks away, I had bought some brain power food .  It is kinda of a tradition that I MUST buy Hershey's chocolate nuggets, Hershey's Kisses and Pearson Mints to decorate and place in everyone's stockings. A special gift to add to their brain power.

And you know what? Crafting Muse's stockings appear small, but they are bigger on the inside....ummm, from WHO did I get that from??

So any who, I did some craft muse magic brain power of my own and made some candy stocking stuffers.  They were fun and I'm hoping also fun to eat.

See the below to decide which brain power food that you would like to taste first.

I also made some non-brain power food stocking stuffers, for those who (gasp!) don't like chocolate. They are ribbon lip balm holders and I also put some lip gloss in a few.

Some DIY Machine Embroidered Book Marks

I've been serving a  "time out" in the embroidery zone given to me , by the Craft Muse.

Why?

Well, apparently one does NOT comment on how wrinkly the Craft Muse wings are when she is coming out of her bedroom aka the craft hoarding room.

Never make a comment about anything,  before she has her morning fix of coffee. And never, ever, ever, mention wings and wrinkles in the same sentence.

I did that and lesson learned.

"But First Coffee" will be tattooed on my forehead, so I will never make THAT mistake again.

So,  any whoo, while in the embroidery zone, I made some good use of the my time er time out.

Since I love to read, ( and who doesn't? since you are reading this , you do ) I decided to make some machine embroidered book marks.

Yes, actual book marks for the old school people who read words on paper aka a book....

Below are some book marks that I made.

DIY Hand Made Pouches

I've been away from this blog for a while.

Why?

Because the Craft Muse (who lives in the guest bedroom aka the craft room) was having a crisis.

That's why.!!!

She lost her bag of magical, mysterious, B-Musing dust.

We looked all over the place and no luck.

She was almost dissolving from her tears, when a miracle happened.

Her fairy god-mother, Agnes, popped in for a visit.  Just like that!

You didn't know that Crafting Muses have fairy god-mothers?
 So now you do.

Well, Agnes saw what was happening and with a zap from her wand, she produced a B-Musing dust storm.

I mean it.

B-Musing dust was falling like big, fat, sparkly,  snowflakes from the top of the room, near the ceiling fan .

So much was falling, that everyone started sneezing. Yikes!
Do you know what B-Musing dust smells like?
That's right, it smells like happiness.

So now the crisis of the missing B-Musing dust was over.  But there was another problem to solve.

The Craft Muse needed a bag, er bags, to hold all of the B-Musing dust.  Lots of bags for lots of piles of B-Musing dust.

That is where I came in to solve the problem. Just like that.

I have tons of embroidery machine in the hoop designs for pouches or small bags.  You know the size to put your cell phone in or your B-Musing dust.

I got right down to it and started up my machine and in a few days er weeks, made lots of bags.

Meanwhile, we had to keep the door shut to the guest bedroom, just in case some B-Musing dust stormed into the hallway and got lost again.

Yesterday, I finished all the bags and gave the lot to her.

The Crafting Muse was so happy that she sparkled!

You can see the bags below and then take a guess which one she liked best.
