BOOK MARK MANIA - 22 MACHINE EMBROIDERED BOOKMARKS

By the book?  It's reading the book!

Bookmania is happening at our house because the Crafting Muse (who lives in the space bedroom aka the craft hoarding room) has waved her magic wand and pronounced that we are NOW living in
BOOKMANIA.

I said to her "Is this like living in Transylvania? "  and then RAN.

Okay, to get bookish from her announcement of the current MANIA, I stitched up some bookmarks like a maniac.

Heads Up for Whovians

I wanted to get  ahead in my quest for all things  Doctor Who.

So I made some fun things to get a head start on Doctor Who Cosplay or really anytime wear.

I've made some Whovian Headbands

I bought the Whovian machine embroidery headband design -Doctor Who Inspired Whovian ITH Headband  at Applique Geek via the Craftsy website.

So join the Whovian band and see them below.

( I am not affiliated with Doctor Who.  These are one of a kind hand made items. )

I really don't  like to wear headbands, so I took the pattern and made it into patches. I'm thinking about putting them on some shoes.  So Sweetie, from head to toe, I've got it covered, or at least I'm pretending that's the plan.

Patches full of Magic

Here's what I've been working on the last week,
Hogwarts Patches.

See them below.
( I am not affiliated with Harry Potter.  The patches are a hand-made, machine embroidered item.)

My Machiine Embroidered Free Standing Lace Ornaments

Whoo Hoo, I haven't been around the blogosphere, for a while, but I have been around the free standing lace embroidery sphere (say that really fast with a mouth full of chewing gum, I dare yay! LOL)

I was speared by the tip of the embroidery machine needle and got the point.

What point?  The point to stitch up some free standing lace ornaments!!

Oh, come on now, I hear you saying.

It is only September and who is thinking about Christmas ornaments?

We have to make it through Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving first.

Well I said the same thing, "Who is thinking of Christmas ornaments NOW? "

Certainly not I.
So the ornaments I stitched up have nothing to do with Christmas .(BTW I love Christmas but never in September - Geesh)

These ornaments will be hanging around all seasons.  Why? You'll see below.

All the ornaments that I stitched up, I purchased the designs from my favorite embroidery site- Urban Threads.

Click on any pix to enlarge.

Take Five for these 5 Elements , natural browns and greens, with suede like hangers and beads to top it off.

Tic Tock, You won't be watching the clock but rather watching these Clockwork Snowflake ornaments

Train  your inner dragon with this ornament.

No bones about it, there are Skull Flakes below.

Not somewhere over the rainbow, but we do have Unicorns.

Soar like a bird if you like these ornaments,
,

Shifting into gear with Steampunk Snowflakes.

Once upon a midnight dreary, a Raven visited me in my chamber while I was running my embroidery machine.

I hope you enjoyed the non seasonal ornaments.
I enjoyed running the embroidery machine to stitch them up.

15 Embroidered Bookmarks

Been at "it" again.

"It" was the embroiderPalooza 2013!

I've set up my sewing-embroidery machine and set it to maxium for creating some bookmarks.

I sorta got stuck on doing more, and more, and more, and (well you get it) because the designs were so cute and I've got a bizillion rolls of ribbon.

Most of the bookmarks were done on stiffened felt and a few on scrapbook paper.

So with-out any more a-do, the below are just a few ....
