More DIY Machine Emboridered Bookmarks

The Craft Muse promised me a wish if I was able to make thirty Machine Embroidered bookmarks before she returned from her Bermuda vacation.

Well, she made it back. And I made it also, by making e 30 + bookmarks.

The Muse is a tiny bit grumpy because she got sunburned on the last day of her Bermuda vacation.

With this in mind, I'm holding off asking for my wish.

I'm running out to the store for some aloe burn cream to put on her sunburn.    And after a few days of recovery I'll mention my wish after I show her the bookmarks.

But, right now I want to show YOU some of the bookmarks that I made last week.

To see past posts showing the embroidered bookmarks.  Check out this  post for the start of the countdown.  And then this post for another batch and  this post for more after that.   And more here

See below for the newest machine embroidered bookmarks.

DIY Dragons and Musical Notes Machine Embroidered Bookmarks

I have to keep running ye olde embroidery machine because the Craft Muse is out of town and I promised to have lots of bookmarks done before she returns.

Can I do it?  We'll see.

So the 30 countdown starts below.

So, let's see .... only about 22 more to go... The race is on and I'm going to earn that crafty wish.

Five DIY Machine Embroidered Unicorn Blook Marks

I've been rounding up the latest herd of Unicorns, to make Unicorn book marks.

I had them pose in a stack for their selfies and then used these pictures for the machine embroidered book marks.  And then I framed the stack.  I use this design- Magical Unicorn Stack.

Below are the individual stacked selfies:

A variegated pink stack to start.

On a mauve background, just because.

Purple stripes go round this frame.

Midnight Unicorns- very rare indeed.

And since I like purple (who doesn't'?) I did a solid purple frame. Yes, that is purple....

I think the selfies came out great.
And don't ask me how I got the unicorns to stack up.
You don't want to know.

Two New DIY Machine Embroidered Bookmarks

I've been running the embroidery machine to store of my stash of  bookmarks.

In the current weeks run, I made 2 new bookmarks, as well as running up some old favorites.

I will be selling these along with some other items at the Romeoville Springtide Craft Show on April 1st,2017.

I truly like the Potterheads so I ALWAYS have on hand something for them.

(I am not affiliated with J.K. Rowling Enterprises or anything o do with Harry Potter books. These are handmade one of a kind items. I am using a free design from Digitized by Jen. I put a frame around the design.)

The above is the  Pirate Mermaid design,  that I purchased from Urban Threads.  I put a frame around the design to create a bookmark.

Now back to making the lots more bookmarks that have dachshunds, pandas, dragons, and steampunk themes.  Lots to do before next week of embroidering some fabric composition book covers.
